Founded in 1919, Zonta International is a global organization of executives and professionals working together to advance the status of women worldwide through service and advocacy.

Zonta Club of Beirut, a non profit, non politically affiliated, non religious civil association was founded on 21/06/2012 and registered at the Ministry of Interior under the Number 1094.
Zonta Club of Beirut recently joined Zonta International to become the 65th country and the first Arab one who is a member of such an organization that works towards advancing the status of women. Lebanon is a part of district 14 which comprises now 8 countries, namely: Austria, Germany, Croatia, Italy, Cyprus, Greece, Hungary and Lebanon.
With a great believe that a certified Quality Management System will further empower the organization in servicing the community, Zonta Club of Beirut has launched its management activities with the assistance of QMS Engineers in order to be in line with the ISO 9001:2008 International Standard and to acquire the certification in the near future.
A kickoff meeting took place on the 25th of April 2014, where an action plan was initiated in the aim of the certification of the organization’s quality management system no later than by the end of 2014.
In line with its social responsibility program, QMS Engineers, wishes the Zontians the best of luck in their endeavor, ensuring Zonta Club of Beirut’s management team that our consultants will no spare no effort for the successful achievement of this project, and will provide all the support needed in all current and future related needs.
